With the Snapdragon Pro Series Season 4 concluding, eight teams from Call of Duty Mobile have now moved to the Snapdragon Mobile Masters. The tournament will take place in São Paulo, Brazil. All the teams come from six regions which are North America, Europe, Latin America, India, China and Asia-Pacific.
North America and Latin America feature two teams in Masters, while the rest of the regions have one team.
Here are the teams from their respective regions:
Latin America - Galorys and Amigos Gaming
North America - Seminal and The Rejects
India - GodLike Esports
Europe - Kings
China - Qing Jiu Club
Asia Pacific - Stalwart Esports (Japan)
Format
Teams will be divided into two groups of four during the Group Stage on April 12. Matches will be played in a double-elimination format GSL format. All matches will be played in a best-of-five format and will conclude on the same day.
Out of the eight, four teams will move on to the Playoffs that will take place on April 13. The Playoffs will only feature a single-elimination bracket with no more chance after losing. The semifinals will be played as best-of-five, while the grand finals will be best-of-seven.
Restrictions
Similar to Call of Duty tournaments on PC/Console, Mobile also has a few restrictions to have a fair game. These include operator skills limits in longer matches like Hardpoint Domination or Control, and weapon bans and limits for other modes.
The tournament features a prize pool of $200,000 which will be divided among all participating teams as per rankings. Here is the prize distribution:
1st - $90,000
2nd - $40,000
3rd and 4th - $20,000
5th and 6th - $10,000
7th and 8th - $5,000
The entire event is a part of the Snapdragon Pro Series year three, which features esports tournaments for seven games across five different regions. The Pro Series will also host this year’s Brawl Stars Championship, featuring a total prize pool of $2 million.
