Silly Esports close BMPS League Week Day 1 after taking down 8Bit once again

Final match for BMPS 2024 League Week Day 1 concludes and Silly Esports have landed another win over 8Bit to secure two chicken dinners out of three matches. This comes as a big surprise to 8Bit fans, as the team was looking unstoppable after their victory against Global Esports and even had an upper hand at times in their rematch against Silly Esports.

Despite having an upper ground, Silly Esports managed to gain control over their opponents thanks to a perfectly timed grenade taking down two players from 8Bit and creating a 1v3 situation. With odds heavily favouring their side, Silly Esports once again managed to dominate 8Bit.

8Bit reigns the Day 1 overall leaderboard

Despite losing out the final stand twice against, Silly Esports, 8Bit had the most successful Day thanks to their consistence performance. The team took down some of the best like Global Esports in the process, while also gave the newbies a taste of what’s to come in the upcoming matches.

Speaking of consistency, Global Esports also managed to keep themselves in the top three across overall performance without a single chicken dinner. After a slow start in the opening match, Global Esports picked up pace thanks to Slug and NinjaBoi. Overall, Group 2 saw themselves on top of the leaderboard, while a majority of top 10 teams remained from Group 1.
