Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek, one of the biggest names in the fps or the gaming community in general, has announced a ‘Fragathon’ to honor his late father, who passed away last year. All the proceeds from this Fragathon will go towards charity, these include subs, donations, and bits. There will also be other streamers joining him on LAN.
As the name suggests, Shroud will also be getting frags and for each frag another dollar will be added to the counter. What’s interesting is that each sub and donation will increase the frag multiplier, meaning if the multiplier reaches, x1000, each frag from thereon will be worth $1,000.
“For the entire month of January, I am going to be going live with a frag counter. For each elimination on stream, one dollar is going to charity. Subs and donations are going to increase this multiplier, making each frag more and more impactful,” he said.

Fellow streamers to join Shroud during the Fragathon
Helping Shroud raise money for charity will be other Twitch streamers/ friends who will be joining him IRL at his house for a LAN party. Frags by other streamers will also be counted towards Shourd’s own frag making them much more impactful. Since they won’t always be playing games, there will be IRL streams. This will allow the frag multiplier to up.
Shroud also made it clear that he doesn't know how much they will be able to raise. The amount could go well over a million dollars alone from his own pocket, as the frag money will be coming out of his pocket, but he says he doesn’t care.
Shroud's Charity Subathon will include as many FPS games and streamers as possible, completing challenges along the way to see how much Shroud donates

The community has appreciated this incredible move and is currently in full support. Subathons like these are highly appreciated by the community, and the most recent Subathons by Ironmouse and Kai Cenat for charity also got similar support from the viewers.
