Recently, Rockstar Games posted a tweet that has sparked controversies among the fans. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the trailer of Grand Theft Auto 6 for a long time. It has been one of the most hyped-up games in the recent years, which has caught significant attention. With just one trailer released so far, Rockstar games have been notably silent about further updates. The frustrated fans in return have come up with conspiracy theories though these are often debunked.
The theories are mostly based on what is next in store for the Trailer 2 of the Open World Crime Game and when it will be released. The theories primarily focus on the potential release dates, but Rockstar Games is yet to come up with some concrete. The fans recently anticipated 27th December as the D-Day, but when the passed without any trailer, the fans were again left disappointed with no trace of the trailer.
Fans left heart broken in the end of 2024
A recent twitter post, Rockstar Games reminded the fans of the Rockstar Store Holiday Sale, as part of their advertising campaign. The sale would be an opportunity to pick Red Dead Redemption, Grand Auto Theft 4, Grand Auto Theft 5 and other merchandise at a discounted price, ending on 7th January. Hours after this post, the comments section was filled with remarks of disbelief by the disappointed fans. However, this announcement, was made on the same day fans had speculated about a GTA 6 trailer release, was met with a wave of frustration.

No traces of the GTA 6 trailer yet as the year 2024 is going to end, fans are left heartbroken, but still hold out for a hope of surprise. Some speculate that the trailer would be released in Fall 2025 which would be part of a huge marketing campaign.
