Are GTA 6 developers trolling gamers with the number 27?

Is December 27 the day GTA 6 fans will finally get a new trailer, or is the entire Rockstar Games just trolling the community? The last few days have seen a lot of coincidences, with Rockstar dropping various hints, leading fans on another witch hunt to make a new connection regarding the new trailer.

The hints in the talk were first the hidden licence plate of the car on their post, followed by Rockstar archiving all the Instagram posts only to leave 27 posts up in their account. All of this started when various employees from the company started posting and someone noted 12/27 on a paper with a bunch of random things.

Will Rockstar release a new GTA 6 trailer on December 27?

From here on, the race to find more clues was on, with people finding various things in return. One user found that when counted from the oldest, the videos on official Rockstar Games YouTube Challenge came down to a video named Jason on the 27th video, which is one of the protagonists from GTA 6.

Another fun coincidence inside the GTA 6 trailer 1 is also on 27 seconds where fans can see a bunch of cars, one of them has a decal of 27 and is the only car in that shot with a text or number. This begs the question, were the signs always there?

The licence plate coincidence also left players counting numbers anywhere they could find, with one user counting numbers on another billboard, which also adds up to 27. All of this was summed up well by a Reddit user /francy_walker in a single image.

So, is December 27 the day or will GTA 6 developers have the last laugh? It is better to go with low expectations to be pleasantly surprised, but that’s not something fans can do after a tease from Rockstar themselves. Regardless of what happens on 27th December, this is undoubtedly one of the most fun months for the GTA community.
