The Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 is here with a 2 crore prize pool. A total of 1024 teams from the in-game qualifiers are also ready to compete in the first round starting May 2 to May 5. The teams will be joined by a few others who have secured a spot across different stages through The Grind.

Round 1 teams will be divided into 64 groups with 16 teams each. Every team will get to play three matches and accumulate as many points as possible to move forward, similar to The Grind. However, out of the 1024 teams, only the top seven from each group, and the top 32 from the remaining teams make a total of 480 teams will qualify for the next round.

Another 32 that secured a direct spot to Round 2 will join these 480 teams starting May 9. The cycle repeats until round 4 where 16 teams will move to the semifinals. Starting Round 3, a few of the losing teams will also move to the wildcard entry.

Round 3 will see the remaining Top 16 teams in the wildcard, while Round 4 will have 48 teams moving to the wildcard entry. Out of the 64 wild card teams, 16 will get a chance to move to the semifinals with others.
