After their initial loss at the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals, OG has made a long journey to the Grand Finals of Skyesports Masters 2024 and will be facing Aurora Gaming, who initially sent them to the Lower Brackets to survive.

Throughout their journey to the grand finals, OG have likely faced the strongest teams possible in the lower bracket and managed to defeat them. Aurora on the other hand showed a dominating performance since the start, telling everyone they were ready. Here’s a quick rundown of their journeys -

Aurora Gaming

After their opening win against, OG in the best-of-three matchups, Aurora Gaming Went on to keep up the flawless streak against FORZE Esports and BetBoom Team to make it into the grand finals.

OG

It seems that OG did not give up after their initial loss against Aurora Gaming and went on to defeat some well-known names in the Counter-Strike community, including ENCE, Ninjas in Pyjamas and BIG before making it to the BetBoom Team in the lower bracket finals and making their way into the grand finals. Throughout their journey, they faced some intense moments but managed to push through.

While it is unfortunate that the matches cannot be played on LAN, that might also be the reason for some of the teams not being able to perform as expected. The showdown between OG and Aurora Gaming is set to take place on April 14 with the winner taking home $105,000 and a spot in the upcoming Skyesports Championship 2024. There are also two more awards for Most Valuable Player and Leader (MVL & MVP) and a cash prize of $2,500.
