Nvidia may bring a new budget 50 series GPU with RTX 5050

The enthusiast and top-tier gaming graphics card from the Nvidia RTX 50 series is not for everyone as most people usually go for budget devices. During the CES 2025, the company announced cards till RTX 5070, but we know there are 3060 on the budget side. However, a new report suggests there may also be an RTX 3050 coming soon.

First spotted by harukaze5719 on X, Zotac, a popular GPU manufacturer named RTX 5050 in filings with the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). At the moment, there does not seem to be an RTX 5050 Ti, however, this comes as incredible news for people who are extremely tight on the budget.

Nvidia RTX 5050 cards may be 

The RTX 50 series features new DLSS 4 and multi-frame generation which seems to be well-liked by a lot of people. Those who want to upgrade but cannot justify a price tag of more than $300 should be able to try these features at a reasonable price. Bringing RTX 5050 also gives Nvidia an advantage over its competitors.

AMD is set to compete with Nvidia in the low to mid-range GPU market, however, the price and performance of 3050 can change a lot of things. If the GPU can provide a decent uplift and match its competitors' pricing, there is no doubt most people will go with Nvidia. But once again, it’s all about price to performance ratio and how well DLSS 4 and multi-frame generation help.

What is the price for the Nvidia RTX 5050?

For now, only the base prices till RTX 5070 are revealed which is priced at $549. Following the trend, the RTX 5060 may come at a $400 price tag, and the RTX 5050 may be somewhere between $250 to $300. In India, this price should be somewhere between Rs 25,000 to 30,000 including taxes. An official pricing on these cards is expected to be revealed sometime in March.
