One of the underdog teams, Numen Gaming, who managed to make their way into the top three, have now made a big comeback to retain their spot. The team took down GodLike Esports and Hyderabad Hydras to secure the match. This was mainly thanks to their incredible positioning allowing Numen Gaming to scout the area ahead without taking risks.
With veteran teams dominating the battlefield on the second day of the BMPS Grand Final, it was interesting to see Numen Gaming in the mix. Their win have now kept the dream for other underdog teams alive with others hopeful giving the top teams something to fight for.
GodLike reaches triple digits
While not the result, GodLike Esports expected the team did manage to cross 100 points and are currently the only team to do so. Combining with the opening chicken dinner and the total count, they are currently holding the most records at BMPS. It remains to be seen if they manage to keep the steak up in the final day of BMPS 2024.
On the other hand, Team XSpark missed a great opportunity to do the same. Following a two match streak, the team saw an early elimination and are currently a few points shy of reaching triple digits alongside Numen Gaming. One more match remains to realize this dream.
