Another image of Nintendo Switch 2 appears online and as usual, it’s not from Nintendo. Instead, the photos come after circulation across various Chinese social media platforms reveal Joy-Cons for the upcoming device. While the design seems updated as previous leaks suggested, fans also noticed an optical sensor.
The new Joy-Cons will reportedly feature magnetic attachments. The lower side showcased larger SL and SR buttons, but the most interesting part is the concept of using the device as a dedicated mouse. Apart from all the similar things, there was also a small sensor. At the moment, it's functionality remains unknown.

Switch users are onboard with extra functionality
People waiting for the Nintendo Switch 2 announcement are also quite excited calling it a simple yet useful feature. This is because many believe that the device will be performing on par with the PS4 Pro and people will most likely connect the device to a bigger screen.
One user showcased an example of how the Joy-Cons will likely be used as a mouse, given the position of the Sensor. After watching the video, a lot of people were convinced that this might be what Nintendo was going for.

"Tried it and that’s crazy, and still feels good with the left Joy-Con in the other hand. I was playing Doom (2016) last night and can see how this would work as an M&K approximate," one user said. While another commented, "We wanted a handheld and we're getting a PC."
