Nintendo Direct reveals long awaited games like Metroid Prime 4

The most recent Nintendo Direct announced some of the most anticipated games fans have been waiting along with the official gameplay trailer. The line-up included multiple Nintendo classics like Metroid, The Legend of Zelda, Mario & Luigi, Donkey Kong and many more.

Many of the titles are set to release in 2024, which is great news for Switch users, while a few titles will make fans wait a bit longer. Sadly, Switch 2 was not included in this Nintendo Direct as previously revealed by President Furukawa, but the company has ensured that the reveal will come this year itself. For now, let’s take a look at some of the most anticipated game releases.

• Metroid Prime 4 - First announced back when E3 was alive in 2017, fans finally got to see a new gameplay trailer and release window for the game. The gameplay and set pieces look amazing and will be one of the biggest releases of 2025.
• Mario & Luigi: Brothership - Another Mario & Luigi game is here and is set to release this year itself. The trailer showcases exploring different landscapes and engaging in combat featuring some insane combos.
• The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom - A new Zelda game was also announced during the Nintendo Direct and this time, it comes with a twist. One can play as Princess Zelda this time and will embark on a journey to save Link and others.
• Super Mario Party Jamboree - With lots of minigames and multiplayer, Super Mario Party Jamboree will give players even more gameplay options than previous instalments.
