Dr Disrespect removed from Midnight Society
Guy Beahm, popularly known as Dr Disrespect, is a well-known internet gaming personality who has recently found himself in hot water for some serious allegations involving a minor, which was also alleged to be the reason for his permanent ban from Twitch.
As a result of the ongoing issues, Midnight Society, a video game development studio co-founded by Dr Disrespect, have announced cutting ties with the popular gamer. The announcement came via a post on X where the Midnight Society wrote, “On Friday evening we became aware of an allegation against one of our co-founders Guy Beahm aka Dr Disrespect."
“We assumed his innocence and began speaking with parties involved,” later on revealing that they cut ties with the streamer. “And to maintain our principles and standards as a studio and individuals, we needed to act. For this reason, we are terminating our relationship with Guy Beahm immediately,” they added.
The studio is currently working on its first title Deadrop for which Dr Disrespect was one of the prime promoters. With the situation being as is, it is currently unknown how well the game will do or will be impacted whenever it is planned for release.

Dr Disrespect addresses the allegations
Before this, Dr Disrespect first addressed this issue when it started getting traction after a former Twitch employee made claims. Responding to the matter, Dr Disrespect said, “I didn’t do anything wrong, all this has been probed and settled, nothing illegal, no wrongdoing was found, and I was paid”.
During his most recent stream, the two times said he might take some time off from all of this and put himself away from social media and other things. He was also previously under fire back in 2019 after he accidentally filmed himself in a bathroom at E3. However, the current matter is much more serious.
“I did have a bit of a planned vacation coming up, but I might extend that starting today. It is what it is. People get fatigued. To be honest, I don’t know how long my vacation is, but maybe I extend that. We’ll see,” he said in his last stream.
