Krafton India introduces Dolby Atmos for BGMI

With Krafton Indian and Dolby partnering up, BGMI players can now make full use of their headphones while gaming through Dolby Atmos. This will allow players to have an even more immersive gameplay experience in terms of sound qualify and help both casual and competitive players as well as those who are aiming to go professional in BGMI.

This feature will allow much accurate audio in-game, which is a very important aspect of any competitive video game. Getting to know accurate footsteps, enemy location or gun fire can create a

 huge difference and give players an advantage, even in esports events.

An important thing to note is that the feature will only be available on phones that have the support for Dolby Atmos. Furthermore, having a decent headset or headphones that can make use of surround sound are also equally important. Of course, the difference can be very subjective depending on each player. Some might feel the advantage, while others may feel the same.

New Dolby Atmos comes weeks ahead of BGMI 3.4 Update

The current season for BGMI is set to end on September 22 following which players will see a brand-new season with new theme. PUBG Mobile, which earlier entered the beta, revealed a Vampire vs Werewolf horror themed update where players will be able to shape-shift.

As per leaks, night Erangle will return, this time with new addition including a new point of interest like castles and werewolf tribes along with mounts to traverse the map similar to vehicles. New weapons, including the first-ever dual wield Akimbo, are also rumoured to be added to the game.

Another quality of life improvement include healing while driving which was one of the most requested feature. It was surprising to see this feature not added previously, considering BGMI usually lean towards realism. Full Details regarding the update are yet to come from Krafton.
