Underdog teams take down GodLike Esports and Team Soul at BMPS Round 2

Following the conclusion of Group 1 matches, Day 1 for BMPS Round 2 witnessed an insane turn of events. Underdog teams have now managed to secure the opening match, while veteran teams like GodLike Esports and Team Soul saw an early elimination. In fact, the top 5 teams all consisted of underdogs and newbies.

Team Soul found themselves in a dog fight against WSB Gaming and since the cut-off is very high both were not ready to give up. After a constant exchange of grenades, the battlefield was levelled, with Team Soul returning to the lobby while their opponents followed them soon enough.

As for GodLike Esports, the team was stuck in an unfortunate situation, facing an imminent rush from Numen Gaming. The team was outside the building that was completely locked down by Angry Swan Esports, and once GodLike entered, it was game over.

A dominating performance by Angry Swan and Team Lolzzz

Securing 11 finishers, Angry Swan Esports managed to grab a lot of attention after the team also went on to secure a chicken dinner. Angry Swan were not exactly the showrunner during Round 1, but the team managed to secure a decent 17th spot, establishing themselves as a potential competitor.

Team Lolzzz on the other hand was among the ones that did not have much of an impact as they finished on 50th spot out of the 64 teams moving forward. Regardless, they managed to survive and even secure 10 finishers in the opening match of Round 2.

It remains to be seen if the underdog teams manage to keep up the pressure on GodLike Esports, Team Soul, WSB Gaming and others, or if the veterans bounce back to finish the day in their favour.
