India’s biggest BGMI 2025 tournament players gets 3.2 crore prize money

KRAFTON has now announced the BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) 2025 tournament, with the players getting 3.2 crore prize money. This is a 60% increase from the previous tournament held last year. The event will happen in Kolkata between April 25 and 27.

In 2024, the players won 2 crores rupees as the prize money, and now the amount has risen to 3.2 crores. Karan Pathak, the Associate Director- Esports, KRAFTON india, said, “The 60 per cent prize pool boost, including INR 1.2 crore allocated to the top 32 teams, is our way of giving back to the competitive community and encouraging more players to push their limits.”

The 2025 BGMI tournament esports started on February 3rd with two teams competing in two phases. A total of 1024 teams participated in round 1, and out of them, 64 teams moved to the main event. Teams played six matches each round, and after elimination, 16 teams made it to the finals. These 16 teams will now compete inside the Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan arena in Kolkata on April 25 and 27.The Battleground Mobiles game is the most played online shooter game in india.
