There have been various instances in the past when BGMI has faced backlashes based on lines of data piracy and breaches. These claims might also lead to a possible ban on the BGMI. The BGMI players across the country are already having doubts on the future of the game. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology had already banned the usage of PUBG Mobile in India on 2nd September, 2020. So, it is quite natural for the BGMI lovers to get anxious after this.

The complaint was filed by Santosh Torane against Krafton and their four executives stating violations of their service agreement. Torane said that his information was leaked/sold by the company to Telegram for ‘a sum of around Rs 2000 per subscriber’. Krafton tried to take their stance on the same by filing writ petition in the Bombay High Court, requesting them to stop the investigation. Clubbing the complaint and the writ petition, the date of hearing has been scheduled at 15th April.

Wait for the legal process to conclude: KRAFTON

As the matter is currently sub judice, we believe it is best to wait for the legal process to conclude, after which we will provide necessary clarifications.”
