GTA 6 launch in India: Date, price, new map, main characters, and more

There is a lot of excitement growing among players worldwide as the long-awaited release of Grand Theft Auto 6 draws near. Grand Theft Auto 6 will launch next year, according to an official announcement from Rockstar Games, following months of conjecture and speculation. The release will be made available on all main platforms, including PC, Xbox, and PlayStation, at the same time.

Players worldwide will be able to access Grand Theft Auto 6 when the clock strikes 12 in their respective time zones on May 26, 2026, when the game is scheduled to premiere at midnight local time.   The game will unlock in nations with several time zones based on the earliest relevant time zone. For example, players on the West Coast can start playing Grand Theft Auto 6 at 9:00 PM Pacific Time on May 25, 2026, while the game will be available in the US starting at midnight Eastern Time on that day. The two main characters of Grand Theft Auto 6 are Jason and Lucia.  

According to the second trailer, the story begins when a heist takes an unexpected turn, sending the two on a dangerous adventure. They are enmeshed in a vast network of criminal activity in the fictional state of Leonida, which is based on Florida. To survive in this dynamic yet perilous environment, Jason and Lucia must rely on one another more than ever amid the heat and mayhem. In addition to Jason and Lucia, the game will feature a large number of new characters. Real Dimez, Dre'Quan Priest, Raul Bautista, Brian Heder, Cal Hampton, and Boobie Ike are among the confirmed characters. Each of these characters is expected to make a substantial contribution to the plot as it develops, giving the GTA 6 universe more nuance and intrigue.

GTA 6 price and game style

GTA 6's regular edition is anticipated to retail for about Rs 5,999 when it launches in India. The price may increase to Rs 7,299 if the user needs deluxe editions. The game costs up to $100, which will be around 9,000 Rs if converted to INR. The state of Leonida, which encompasses the vibrant nightlife of Vice City and its surrounding areas, will be explored by players in Grand Theft Auto VI, according to confirmation from Rockstar Games.   This map, which is said to be the biggest and most intricate open world in the Grand Theft Auto series' history, is made to provide a more immersive and engaging experience than before.
