With the release of an enhanced edition, the original game with almost 2 million reviews has also been delisted. This means players will have to get the enhanced version of the game currently on discount for ₹ 1,100. Apart from the visual upgrades, Rockstar Games also added many quality-of-life features. Let’s check the major changes -

What changed in GTA 5 Enhanced for PC?

Improved visuals and audio

With Ray Tracing being pushed around a lot, GTA 5 Enhanced adds the feature with ray-traced shadows, reflections, global illumination, and ambient occlusion. This should help the game bring much more realistic lighting. This change will likely take a hit on performance so the game now also supports Nvidia DLSS and AMD FSR3. The audio upgrades are going to allow more clarity to surround sound for better immersion.

UI and performance overhaul

The enhanced edition also updates the UI allowing players to access GTA Online features much faster from the main menu. Speaking of faster, load times are also improved, although, players will need to have the game installed on SSD, haptic feedback has also been added to the PlayStation DualSense controller.

GTA Online updates

Players can also collect new vehicles and upgrade some older ones. Previously, the content released during GTA 5 Enhanced will also slowly be added to the mix. Do note that in order to play with friends, both players need to have the same version as the GTA 5 Legacy user cannot play with Enhanced.
