Gods Reign swoops former BGMI roster of Mogo Esports after disband

Days after Mogo Esports disbanded their BGMI roster, Gods Reign followed suit and acquired the former Mogo Esports roster, bringing in Destro, DeltaPG, Justin and NinjaJOD as their playing four alongside their coach Robin. The new team will be competing at the upcoming Skyesports Championship 2024 and the Red Bull M.E.O. event.

This move comes after the team failed to find success across multiple events. While the team managed to bring good firepower and great fight, the permanence remained a little inconsistent, leading to many early upset and the team failing to grab the win multiple times.

Return of the Kings?

An interesting thing to note is that prior to Mogo Esports, the players were a part of Gods Reign, which makes this a return for the players to their old team. While the reasoning for disbanding wasn’t provided, many believe it was also due to inconsistency in their performance.

However, things aren’t the same now. Ahead of the BGMI roster disbanding, Mogo Esports onboarded NinjaJOD who is also the part of current roster with Gods Reign. 2024 overall has been disappointing for the team but maybe with increased firepower, players can bring a change.

Destro is already considered one of the best IGLs across the competitive BGMI scene, which led his old org Gladiator Esports on an incredible win streak back in 2023. He is also one of the players that holds multiple BGMI championships under his name.

On the other hand, NinjaJOD is famous for his firepower and led Team XSpark to victory at the recent Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024. With Ninja coming together under the leadership of Destro, the lifelong dream of the CEO of Gods Reign, Rohith KR, is also finally complete.
