Following one of the best performances on Day 1, Gods Reign have once again started their second day with a chicken dinner to get back on track. This time around, the team played it much safer to try and keep most players alive, but still managed to secure 13 finishers by the end of the match.
The safer approach was likely to ensure the chicken dinner with as many finishers as possible. Currently, the top two teams on the overall leaderboard, Silly Esports and 8Bit, have left everyone in the dust with a huge margin. Any team that plans on closing the gap will need to play cautiously.
Gods Reign was lucky to find multiple third-party opportunities, which further added to their finisher count. Fury and Phantom had the biggest impact, with both players ending the match with five finishers each. The endgame, however, wasn’t as exciting, with the last two teams opting for a heal battle rather than a due to secure the second spot.
While a majority of the points were bagged by Gods Reign, K9 Squad and Dragon Esports also managed to put up double digits by the end of the match. Medal Esports was another who also managed to climb up in the shadows after the team failed to catch anyone’s attention on Day 1.
