Ninjas in Pyjamas dominates Gods Reign

The quarterfinals saw Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP) breeze through the Gods Reign with a dominating victory and move to the upper bracket semifinals. The team managed to secure one round early in the first map, however, the team lost their grip on the match considering it was their map pick.

NiP picked up Ancient as the second map choice where Gods Reign once again had a slow start sending them to an almost impossible scoreline of 11-1 in the first half. On the attacking side, the team did muster some rounds, giving fans a little hope. However, their run ended after NiP got a hold of the situation and ended the game with a 13-5 score.

BIG struggles against BetBoom Team

With some popular names, BIG was supposed to have an easy day at Skyesports Masters. The opening match also made it very convincing as the team secured the first match picked by their opponents on the overpass without much struggle.

However, the team fumbled the bag in the next match against the young blood. With a good start, BetBoom did not let BIG take map control, forcing them to chase behind. BIG did have a couple of good rounds, but their opponents finally ended the match with a 13-6 scoreline.

Things also did not look great in the final map, which ended as a cat-and-mouse chase for BIG before ending similarly and knocking them down to the lower brackets. Matches for lower bracket round 1 are set to take place on April 10 with two of the four team will return home from the tournament.
