ENCE - dycha (Source - HLTV)
The race for the Skyesports Masters 2024 championship has begun, however, ENCE, who were looking to have a strong start struggled in their opening match and lost to FORZE Esports dropping early into the lower brackets.
In terms of statistics, ENCE is considered very decent and boasts some popular players gla1ve, dacha and Hades. However, the team had a slow start on Mirage, picked by FORZE despite putting up a good fight, the team lost the first match.
The following map was ENCE’s pick, where they dominated their opponents. The decider map on Ancient, or more specifically, the overtime is where ENCE saw a huge setback. Both teams saw up and down on score, with FORZE managing to take ENCE in overtime, where they couldn’t hold FORZE at bay.
Aurora Gaming dominates OG
OG has not been able to see much success in the Counter-Strike scene for some time now, which was also very apparent against their match with Aurora Gaming. The first match saw OG struggling in the defending side. While the team did manage to take a few rounds on attack, the match ended in favour of Aurora Gaming.
The second match also saw a similar fate for OG in a 9-13 loss sending them to the lower brackets where they will soon face ENCE to survive in the tournament.
Since the tournament was hosted online, it already felt like the teams were also not playing at their best. There were multiple short technical issues time and time during the stream. Playing online with added latency is also a huge factor for the teams, as we have seen during the COVID how multiple big names faced gameplay issues.
Up next, we have BetBoom Team Vs BIG alongside Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP) Vs Gods Reign. BIG and NiP are currently looking like a challenge for their opponents, however, only time will tell which team will be moving forward and who will fall to the lower brackets.
