ROG game developer Tenderfoot Tactics has removed itself from the Xbox store to stand in solidarity with Palestine. Microsoft has been accused of helping the Israeli army with AI technology, which has been used to bombard Gaza in recent months.

Many innocent civilians were killed in this brutal attack, and many people across the world support the Palestinian people in their cause. Game developer Tenderfoot took a stand against Microsoft and removed itself from the Xbox store

Their games will no longer be on sale in Microsoft’s store. Recently, many Microsoft employees who helped the company develop AI technology have protested against the company for helping the Israeli military use their work.

Microsoft also fired these employees as they raised questions regarding their stance. These AI tools are used to track people and their conversations, and later the Israeli military bombards Gaza. The BDS movement called Microsoft the most complicit tech company helping Israel’s illegal apartheid regime for genociding 2.3 million Palestinians.

It added, “The Israeli military uses AI to sift through vast troves of intelligence, intercepted communications and surveillance to find suspicious speech or behaviour and learn the movements of its enemies.” But if the AI tells false data, the people will suffer the most without doing anything wrong.

Tenderfoot out of the Microsoft store

Tenderfoot Tactics has joined the protest in support of the Palestinian people. It released a statement regarding the issue, which reads, “The Tenderfoot Tactics team has decided to remove our game from sale on Xbox in solidarity with the Palestinian-led Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions campaign.”

They also demanded that gamers not buy Microsoft products and exclude the company from its contracts. Many game developers are expected to exit the Microsoft game store because of their stand against the Palestinian people.

During its 50th anniversary, an employee who claimed to be working on AI technology for the company confronted a Microsoft AI CEO. In another incident, Microsoft founder Bill Gates was confronted by an Indian-origin woman for helping the Israeli military kill people.
