Handheld console maker Anbernic has suspended shipments to the United States of America due to Donald Trump’s tariffs. Gamers can purchase the products that are in the US, but no new shipments will arrive in the country anytime soon.
Most of the consoles are made in China, and with the new trade war between the two big nations, there is no possibility of importing goods from China at a higher cost. So Americans will now have zero options in importing goods from other countries.
US President Trump has imposed taxes on every country, shaking the global market and manufacturing hubs. This also triggered a trade war between the US and China, the two biggest economies in the world. China retaliated with its own tax on US products, and people are suffering the most due to this tariff war.

Anbernic suspends imports to the US
There were also many visuals released by the Chinese government where people are queuing in the Airport with a huge amount of goods as luggage. Amid tension between the two countries, Anbernic, the retro handheld console maker, has now suspended imports from China and Vietnam.
These countries produce most electronic goods, smartphones, gaming consoles and accessories. They are also the ones who are taxed the most by the US government. Chinese goods now have 145% tariffs, and Americans can't import them, paying higher taxes.
Anbernic blamed the US government for its high tariffs on goods from China and Vietnam. But they said customers can still purchase goods from their American stores. Some goods, like the Anbernic RG Cubexx and the RG 406h, are only available as imports and are now unavailable in America.
The company is working to find a solution to this ongoing trade issue. Gaming console brand Nintendo has also stopped the pre-orders for the US market due to the same issue. Only this week, they again started getting pre-orders for the Switch 2 console.
