Along with becoming the only team to secure back-to-back matches during the BMPS 2024 Grand Finals, Team XSpark is now also the only team to secure two official BGMI tournaments in a single year. After lifting the BGIS 2024 trophy, the history repeated itself as fans once again witnessed the team do it again in Kochi.
Team XSpark wasn’t necessarily the most dominating team during the League Stages, and only started picking up pace after qualifying for the semifinals. The same happened for grand finals, as the team was spotted among the bottom five following the conclusion of Day 1.
While the BMPS was much more competitive as new teams emerged with a different gameplay style, things were a lot different during the BGIS. Fans saw teams were chasing chicken dinner, while XSpark dominated the tournament with a single win, showcasing once can lift the trophy only with finisher points.

The BMPS itself came as a surprise to everyone as some of the top teams like Carnival Gaming, Global Esports and Team Soul eliminated without qualifying for the semifinals. With one of the top player from Team XSpark departing, fans were unsure of their firepower.
Departure of NinjaJOD and the addition of Jokerr
Following the departure of NinjaJOD to Team Soul, fans were worried about their performance in the tournament. Ninja was one of the most popular player during his time in Team XSpark, but parted ways with them following the conclusion of BGMS Season 3. Replacing Ninja, was Jokerr from Team Soul, who is also a beloved player in the BGMI community, but fans were yet to see him in action.
All doubts were removed after the team qualified for the grand finals, even after missing Ninja. The confidence was once again boosted after a dominating performance from Joker during the second day after he secured a chicken dinner in an impossible to win situation. This acted as a boost in confidence and enabled the team to secure three chicken dinner out of six matches. BMPS grand finals Day 2 remains one of the biggest reason for Team XSpark’s success.
