Faze rain becomes longest serving Counter Strike pro in a single team

Faze Rain has now become the longest-serving member of Faze Clan to overtake the previous longest duration record set up by EliGE while playing for Team Liquid. The Counter-Strike professional recently completed his, 3014th day on the team.

Håvard “⁠Rain⁠” Nygaard started his journey with Faze back in 2016 during the time of CS: GO and has been one of the most consistent players who can adapt to the team's needs. Over his journey, he has managed to secure a Major title and several other tournaments across the board.

Before Faze, the rain was part of Team Kinguin for a few months and then joined G2 Esport for another few months before finally settling in with Faze Clan. All his stints with other organizations have not been for long, making everyone believe that Faze is the only one for him.

Before him, the same record for longest serving member was held by EliGE at 3013 days on Team Liquid before he shifted to Complexity back in 2023 as reported by HLTV. Since rain is still a part of Faze Clan, it is unlikely that any other players will be breaking this record any time soon.

Rain along with his other teammates at Faze is also set to kick-off ESL Pro League Season 19 with a match against Imperial Esports in the first group of Group Stages that will commence starting April 23. The team recently secured IEM Chengdu, making their way into IEM Cologne, giving them a huge boost in Morale.

KRIMZ⁠ could have easily been the longest-running player if not for his month-and-a-half-long run with GODSENT. KRIMZ has been a member of Fantic since 2014 and is still playing for the same org. However, back in 2016, he shifted to GODSENT for over a month before returning to Fantic.
