Riyadh Masters 2024 for Dota 2 is one of the biggest events taking place at the ongoing Esport World Cup and features the biggest prize pool of all the events. The event is hosted by ESL and features a prize pool of $5 million, with the winner taking home $1.5 million.
Eight teams had previously made their way directly into the group stage through the EPT Leaderboard, while 12 others recently competed in the Play-Ins. Out of the 12, eight have now also secured their spot in the group stages that are set to commence on July 10.
The Play-Ins saw Entity and Heroic get a one-up over other popular teams like beastcoast, PSG Quest and Aurora. Both teams had an impressive performance, especially Heroic, who recently entered the Dota 2 competitive scene. Entity on the other hand has been in the scene for quite some time now and has had some great runs at Tier 2 and Tier 3 events.
Alongside the other qualifiers from Play-Ins, both teams will join the group stages and are shuffled across two groups of eight. Their performance at the event has certainly left fans wondering if the team will be able to hold their own against the likes of Team Falcons, Team Liquid, Tundra Esports and other veterans of the Dota 2 scene.

The Group Stages will run throughout five days and teams will be getting enough chance to secure their spot among the 12 teams moving to either the upper bracket or the lower bracket of Playoffs.
