Johan “N0tail” Sundstein is one of the biggest names in the Dota 2 community, and now he has revealed his upcoming biography, Character Beats Talent which will be released on April 18. The book comes as a popular request from fans.
“After many years and lots of requests, I’m finally uncovering my story from a small kid with a dream, to deception, growth, and achieving my ultimate goals in my new book called Character Beats Talent (Danish edition), releasing next Thursday,” N0tail wrote while announcing the book.
A long journey to uncover
The publisher's description of the book is his journey to become one of the best and richest in esports. N0tail describes the book as his story about the dark side of the esports scene, about self-belief, and about anger as a driving force in a time when his closest friends left him when he needed them the most.
The book is priced at 279.95 DKK, which is roughly $40. An English version of the same is also on its way as per N0tail who confirmed to a fan that it will be available “as soon as possible”. Furthermore, he will also be taking questions from fans regarding his journey which might also be included in the book.
The legend started his Dota 2 journey back in 2012 and joined Fnatic. After leaving Fnatic, he went on to play with Team Secret and Cloud 9 but didn’t see much success, which ultimately led him to create his team alongside Fly called (monkey) Business.
After the team saw success, they went on to become OG and started making a name for themselves in the professional Dota 2 scene. N0tail alongside his teammates made history by securing The International back-to-back, a feat that no team has been able to achieve to this date. Not only that, he is also currently the highest-earning esports pro across all games.
