Controversy erupted in the BGMS Season 3 as a Global Esports player threw a fist at the Godlike player. The Global Esports player is none other than Slug whose action has been criticised. Following the incident, Global Esports gave an explanation and Godlike's Amar replied to it. Their confrontation has gone viral on social media.

Global Esports addressed the toxicity from the fans of Godlike. In their statement, they sent a warning claiming that they would reply to the attack on them on social media by their performance. It was targeted at the fans who abused the team following the incident. It claimed that the entire Esports community stands together with them to address the toxicity of the fans.

The statement claimed that Global Esports would be complaining about the fans, fan pages, and communities that have targeted them in the BGMS S3. It claimed that the event is televised but the fans are taking it to the Stone Age with their immature behaviour. The statement was disappointed about the fact that the families of the players were targeted by the fans.

Amar asks Global Esports to not target Godlike's fans as a group

Godlike's Amar confirmed that they do not intend to spread hate against an organization. While Amar agreed that one had the right to fight for themselves when someone crosses the line, he added that the fans had done nothing wrong to be openly threatened. He felt that the fans of Godlike were dragged unnecessarily due to none of their mistakes.

Amar confirmed that he had no problems in Global Esports registering complaints against those that targeted the families of the players. But he asked them to stop claiming every fan spreading hate to be the one from Godlike. He felt that selective targeting of Godlike needs to be stopped and felt selective individuals were bringing a bad name for the entire fan group.
