CoD MW Remaster is currently overtaking Black Ops 6 in the top seller charts

Recently, Call of Duty (CoD) has become one of the most trending games on Steam and no, it is not the upcoming CoD Black Ops 6, instead, it is the Modern Warfare Remaster from 2017. The game was a remaster of the original CoD Modern Warfare, released back in 2007.

The revelation was quite confusing, however, after finding out the reason, it became clear really quickly as to why the games’ popularity have surged in the last few days. This is all thanks to the upcoming H2M Mod releasing this month on August 15.

The original CoD MW was popular for its multiplayer elements, including the gunplay, kill streaks and general aesthetics. Over the years, all of these improved, however, gamers haven’t felt at home after the MW servers shut down due to a malware threat that Activision was not planning to resolve.

In came H2M with the mod that will fix the issue while also reviving the player base, which is still very active. The mod is specifically made for Modern Warfare Remastered, and with the ongoing sale of the said game, players have been flocking to get a copy and play with the H2M mod.

A nostalgia trip for Modern Warfare veterans

Modern Warfare has been one of the most popular series for CoD, both in terms of story and multiplayer. The H2M Mod is quite ambitious and fans have been waiting for quite some time. H2M retains all the classic features that fans love.

The mode comes with OG maps, with over 50 available on launch including the ones from MW2, as the MW2 remaster did not come with multiplayer. Players will also have kill streaks, class loadout, and even progression with weapon camos unlock. This is a great achievement for the community and is the reason why the Modern Warfare Remaster is beating other games recently in the top-selling charts.
