Impact Weekend for BGMS Season 3 kicks off with Carnival Gaming securing the opening match. This was not only the first win of Impact Weekend but also the first chicken dinner of the entire Domination Week. The run was much more on the passive side, as Carnival Gaming only engaged in a fight with the last few teams remaining and managed to keep the entire team alive.

Carnival Gaming has been one of the most underwhelming teams across the BGMS League Week. At times, the players have sent waves with multiple clutches, including two 1v4 team wipe by Neyo which is still unmatched by anyone.

Despite that, the team has been struggling to climb the leaderboard ladder since forever. Following a few great games in the Survival Week, the team have constantly returned to lobby early. Even when they do survive, the team has not been able to find early finishers. The current chicken dinner also saw the team with only four finisher points, while other teams took advantage of impact week.

Team Soul and Carpe Diem stepping up the game

The true MVP of the first game was Carpe Diem, who secured 27 points and have made a jump to the top four. Carpe Diem has been constantly keeping the game competitive for everyone since Day 1 of the League Week. The team did drop outside the top for a while but have made a great recovery.

Following behind were Team Soul with 16 points in total, and while it may not be comparable to Carpe Diem, the performance is much better from the last few days. The team is still in the lower ranks and will likely not contest for the top four spot. However, it’s not over till it's over, as one great game will push them into a competitive position.
