The Bihar State Sports Authority recently announced an Inter School Esports Championship, allowing players aspiring to play video games professionally to show off their skills. Featuring four gaming titles, top players will be competing in a LAN event, with the top three players/teams also earning cash prizes as per the tournament.
A lot of esports tournaments are focused on professionals and college students. This will be the first mainstream esports event focused on school students. Prepping them from a young age will give them even more time to improve and maybe represent the nation on an international level moving forward.
Tournament Overview
Featuring four popular games across India, the tournament consists of EA FC 24, BGMI, Chess and Real Cricket 24. Tournaments for all of these games are divided into two phases, one will be online play and the other will be a LAN event.
