The latest campaign from Krafton India tells fans about the importance of friendship through a short film about four friends. Starting out as a regular online random in BGMI everyone encounter when starting out, all of them formed a deep friendship and named their squad ‘DoomTroopers’ who sat down each night for a gaming session.
One day, one of their BGMI squad member missed out of their usually gaming session and the other team members get worried. While missing one game usually does not mean much in real life, the short film aims to covey a friend, losing touch with others eventually with time. This is something many online friends experience in real life.
Worried about their friend, all of them set out on a journey and finally get to meet each other in real life, sharing their experience with each other in a heartfelt moment. All of them later celebrates Diwali together with another game of BGMI.

“We get regular questions on what makes BGMI such a loved game across the country. Through this film, we attempted to answer that - its the sense of belonging you get in your squad. We had a live screening with a popular BGMI YouTuber and the comments really melted our hearts,” Associate Director and Lead of Marketing at Krafton India, Srinjoy Das.
A chance for players to meet their BGMI squad
The campaign isn’t the only thing Krafton India is bringing players a chance to meet with their squad in real life. In order to get a chance, players need to share their “Bhai ke liye toh poori duniya laangh jaayenge” moments under the new short film comments on YouTube.
Four people who get the most like in the comments will get an all expense paid trip to meet their squad, regardless of any corner of India they reside. This is a great opportunity for people to finally team up with their online best friend IRL.
