Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 has been hit with overwhelmingly negative rating after the game faced several issues on launch. Players reported multiple crash, with many not able to install the game due to server issues. On top of that, those who managed to install and launch the game were hit with incredibly long loading times.

As the latest entry into the popular Microsoft Flight Simulator, the game promised a lot of things like different mission, better maps and more options to take flight, Sadly, the Day 1 issue was a huge letdown to the fans especially those who pre-ordered the game full price.

Many players reported up to an hour-long wait time. The official support account acknowledged the issues and reassured fans that they are working to fix the problem, however, the damage has already been done. The game is currently sitting at 15% positive reviews on Steam.

Fans not happy with the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 launch

On one side, the immense server load reveals the popularity of the game, but on the other the general complaint from fans remains how is Microsoft, the biggest company on earth, is not able to handle server load. The original Microsoft Flight Simulator released back in 2020 also similar issues and fans believed that the company may be prepared for a similar scenario.

The issues seem to be resolved as of now, with players being able to log in with servers working fine. However, an official conformation from the support is yet to come.
