In a special video released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Indian Cricket team head coach Gautam Gambhir and former India captain Virat Kohli were seen engaging in fun conversations. The Board released the full video on their official website, where the Kohli-Gambhir duo talked about their past achievements and kept on complementing each other for everything they have achieved as individuals.

When Virat Kohli was given the responsibility to lead the Indian team after MS Dhoni, he had to do a lot of work. Before the Kohli era, the Indian team knew how to survive in overseas conditions. However, after Kohli took over the captaincy, he instilled a sense of responsibility and confidence in the players, which helped India conquer the lands of England and Australia.

Very casually, Gambhir pointed out the kind of change that happened under Kohli's captaincy and how India started dominating the foreign lands. Under Kohli's captaincy, India haven't lost the Border-Gavaskar Trophy which speaks volumes about the player and his team.

Gambhir said, "You built a solid fast bowling unit. I understand you were 24-25 when you took Test captaincy; the credit must go to you for the way you formed the team at that time. Your attitude, winning overseas Tests. Virat made us believe that we could dominate in Test cricket, not just survive." These statements were enough to prove Kohli's captaincy stint even though he couldn't lead India towards any ICC Trophy victory.

Every challenge, every critique, made me stronger: Virat Kohli

Former India skipper Virat Kohli is known for his head-strong attitude and aggression, which keeps him pumped up and motivated throughout the game. Playing against teams like Pakistan, Australia, and England made him stronger because of the constant sledding and drama used to go around on the field.

Being an extraordinary player for over a decade hasn't taken away Kohli's enthusiasm for the game yet, which is fascinating. He still has the fire and hunger in him to play more and win games for his team. This quality makes him an inspiration for everyone watching him. After Gambhir praised Kohli for his captaincy, the 35-year-old spoke about what kept motivated him throughout the process. Kohli said, "Every challenge, every critique, made me stronger."
