One of the questions posed to Rahul was how he felt playing with and against Virat Kohli. To which Rahul replied, “You don’t see him change a lot, right? Whether he is winning or whether he is losing. He always walks in with the same passion, same intensity. He is a very competitive guy, and you know that when you play with him, you know how competitive he is”
Rahul also added, “You feel like somehow you have to pick your intensity up to his level. That’s the power and control he has over the teams that he plays for. Where he can get a whole group of people to work at his level and intensity. When he is against you, he is going to operate at that intensity.”.
Apart from KL Rahul, yet another former RCB star is set to make his return to the Chinnaswamy Stadium. Faf du Plessis will be back on familiar territory after leading the side for the past few seasons. If Delhi win, they will head back to the top of the table, and if RCB win, they also have a chance to move to the top of the table.
Former India batter Aakash Chopra has pondered about Delhi’s batting order and the likely tussle for the opening slot. Taking to his YouTube channel, Chopra said, “What should you expect from the Delhi team? There are a few questions for them. The Delhi Capitals have won three out of three and are the only undefeated team, but who will open? It's a massive question,"
The 47-year-old also said, “Faf du Plessis should be available now. Where will KL Rahul go if Jake Fraser-McGurk opens with Faf du Plessis? You made Rahul open, and he scored 77 and gave a 'Player of the Match' performance. However, what after that?"
