The term T20I is an abbreviation for T20 Internationals, which is used worldwide for the shortest format matches in international platform. However, the England Cricket team use IT20, instead of T20I during their games. There is no difference between the two abbreviations. The fans noticed this during the ongoing England vs Australia series and started questioning the existence of the term.

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) came up with the term to maintain its unique branding strategy, reserving its use for T20 series played on home soil. The only difference between the two terms is the order of the letters; otherwise, they are identical. Notably, the ECB has not provided an official explanation for using IT20, but the term is consistently used across their platforms

England's sloppy performance against Australia costed them the 1st T20I in the 3-match T20I series in Southampton. Australian batters started smashing the English bowlers right from the start and scored 179 runs in the first innings. Travis Head pulled off a great start for the team, scoring 59 runs off 23 balls, including eight boundaries and four huge sixes. Matthew Short gave him a hand from the other end scoring 41 runs off 26 balls. Liam Livingstone was the best bowler in England, taking three wickets.

The host's batting was worse than their bowling, as they couldn't chase down the target on their own home ground. They lost the game by 28 runs, thanks to Sean Abbot's terrific bowling. The bowler claimed three wickets and took the team past the victory line. It was Livingstone again putting in all the efforts. He did try to make ends meet for England, but the other batters didn't support him and, hence, the Three Lions lost the game.

Nice to get away quickly: Travis Head

Travis Head has evolved to become the most dangerous batters in cricket, especially in the shortest format of the game. Because of his batting efforts, Australia won the game and took the lead in the series. He talked about his role in the team and how he is given the freedom to hit every ball, which has helped him improve his game and gain confidence.

"Nice start. Nice to get away quickly. I just tried to score. The wickets against Scotland were very different. We were trying to use the pace on the ball. Guys have been playing together for the last couple of years. The coach and captain want me to bat freely. I try to whack it every time," said Travis Head in the presentation.
