Jasprit Bumrah has emerged to be one of the greatest bowlers in the history of the game. Currently, he's the No.1 ranked bowler in the Test rankings and has done wonders with the white ball as well. His significant contributions to the ODI and T20 WC will always be remembered by Indian fans. Talking about his Test record, there are a few batters who have scored more than 30 runs against Bumrah in an innings.
The young debutant of Australia, Sam Konstas, has entered the elite list of players who have hammered the great bowler for more than 30 runs. Joe Root scored the highest number of runs at the Lord's Test match in 2021, where he hit 45 runs in 68 balls against Bumrah. This remains at the top, while Alastair Cook scored 39 runs off 63 balls at the Oval in 2018.
The list is filled with batting legends who have terrific Test cricket records. Konstas will be proud of himself for entering the Book of Records with his magnificent batting in the fourth Test match against India. He scored 60 runs in 64 balls but was eventually dismissed by Ravindra Jadeja.

I've seen a lot, there's a lot of talent there no doubt about it: Ricky Ponting
Former Australian skipper Ricky Ponting heaped praises on the 19-year-old newcomer Sam Konstas for his talented batting performance in the fourth Test match. Konstas batting was impressive as he went after Jasprit Bumrah from the third over of the game with his unorthodox shots. The best part about his batting was the confidence he carried throughout the innings.
"I've seen a lot, there's a lot of talent there no doubt about it. The way he played in the PM's XI game (he scored 107 against the Indians), the way that he was able to approach his first BBL game the other night … I know it's different formats, but you can see that the talent is there and there's also a bit of an attitude to go with it," said Ponting to The ICC Review.
