The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Secretary Jay Shah is set to become the Chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in the upcoming days. As per reports, he has the backing of 15-16 members of the Board, which creates a good chance for him to become the Chairman of ICC. Moreover, he has good experience in handling the players and the teams, which is an added advantage for him.

While nothing has been decided yet and no official information has been passed, rumours about this are flying all over the internet. However, if the news comes true, BCCI will have to look for another candidate just as good as Jay Shah to replace him as the Secretary. While there are many candidates for replacement, someone as dedicated as Jay Shah will be the first criterion.

BCCI treasurer Ashish Shelar is one prominent name who can be a good replacement for Shah. He is a big name in the MCA administration and has a good rapport with the Indian Cricket Team. However, he might not be interested in this Secretary position as he has other political commitments. Apart from him, IPL Chairman Arun Dhumal might also be considered for the position. He has been handling IPL well, and becoming the BCCI Secretary will be a huge step forward.

The interview was a different world: KL Rahul

In a recent podcast, KL Rahul opened up about his experience in Koffee with Karan, where he went along with Hardik Pandya and later got suspended from the Indian team for statements given by both players. He still feels quite threatened by the show and said that it has somewhat lowered his confidence.

The Indian star batter said, “The interview was a different world. That changed me. Completely changed me. I was a very soft-spoken person growing up. Then I played for India and became very confident. People will know I have been in a room of 100 people. Now I don't because that interview scarred me massively. Getting suspended from the team. I have never been suspended in school, punished in school. I don't know how to handle it. I did mischief in schools but nothing to get me expelled from school or my parents have come."
