During the RCB vs KKR, the 10th game of the ongoing Indian Premier League, apart from the result of the match or anything else, what attracted the eyeballs of the entire cricketing fraternity, especially the Indian cricket fans was the moment that came during the strategic time-out.

It was the moment when two ‘considered rivals’ in the IPL, former RCB skipper Virat Kohli and KKR mentor Gautam Gambhir hugged each other and shared the smiles. The video of this moment also started making rounds on social media as soon as it was shared by the official broadcasters of the tournament.

Meanwhile, this moment also drew a lot of memes and some hilarious comments from the former Indian cricketers as well. However, Kolkata Police didn’t take too much time in coming up with a hilarious tweet from their X handle (formerly Twitter)

Kolkata Police wrote in their tweet while sharing an image of Kohli and Gambhir hugging each other, “Whether the problem is serious or huge, dial 100 for solution.”

Apart from this, the former Indian cricketer Ravi Shastri also spoke about this moment while he was active in his commentary stint with Jio Cinema. Shastri said that the duo deserves a Fairplay award for this act. While making a hilarious addition to this, former legendary Indian batter Sunil Gavaskar said, “Not only a fair play award, they should be given an Oscar.”

Speaking of the action of the match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore, KKR won the toss and asked the hosts to bat first at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Batting first, RCB posted a total of 182 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs courtesy of Virat Kohli’s brilliant knock of 83 runs off 59 balls, with 4 fours and 4 sixes.

While chasing the target, Kolkata Knight Riders chased it down comfortably in 16.5 overs, scoring 186 runs for the loss of 3 wickets and won the match by a margin of 7 wickets.
