The 10th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) between the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) ended on a great note. Even though RCB lost the match in their backyard, the highlight of the match was Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli's rivalry turned into 'Bhai-vlry'. The first instance of their brotherhood was seen during the strategic time-out when Gambhir came into the field and gave a side hug to Virat.
As the match ended, they were seen shaking hands and hugging their rivalry out. However, the friendly behaviour of the two stalwarts came as a shocker to some people as it was unexpected considering the interview Gambhir had with Star Sports.
The mutual respect shown by both of them is appreciation-worthy as they have a long history of rivalry since 2013. They are the walking proofs of how things can change overnight. Moreover, after this, legendary batter Sunil Gavaskar said, "Not only a fair play award, they should be given Oscars!".

After playing a brilliant match, KKR overpowered RCB in all the departments and hence, went on to win the match by seven wickets. Even though RCB's start was amazing, and Virat Kohli played a beautiful inning of 83 runs off 49 balls, others failed to convert it. After giving a target of just 182 runs at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, RCB's bowlers under-performed which gave the KKR batters a chance to play freely.
Thanks to Sunil Narine (47) and Phil Salt (30), KKR got a spectacular start and later, Venkatesh Iyer (50) and Shreyas Iyer (39) carried the moment throughout the match. It was the efforts of the entire team which was the sole reason why KKR dominated the RCB side in their home ground. For an impressive all-round performance, Sunil Narine was given the 'Player of the Match' award.
