England's skipper Ben Stokes joins an elite club after completing 6000 runs and taking 200 wickets in Test cricket. After Gary Sobers and Jacques Kallis, Stokes became the third player to achieve this feat in red-ball cricket. England are playing against West Indies at the iconic Lord's Stadium, where Stokes equalled the legendary players' records.

While Sobers played 93 Test matches and scored 8032 runs with 235 wickets, South Africa's star all-rounder Jacques Kallis played 166 Test matches with 13289 runs and 292 wickets. Moreover, skipper Ben Stokes achieved the feat in his 103rd Test match with 6320 runs and 200 wickets. He dismissed Kirk McKenzie on a duck to achieve this unique record.

This record linked Stokes to legendary players like Kallis and Sobers. Apart from this, he reached 20000 runs and 300 wickets list in international cricket, becoming the fifth player to do so after Carl Hooper, Sanath Jayasuriya, Jacques Kallis, Shahid Afridi, and Shakib Al Hasan.
