Team India are set to take on Sri Lanka in the final game of the three-match T20I series. Suryakumar Yadav and his men have already won the series having won the second game on Sunday by 7 wickets. 

Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to field first on a fresh wicket which could turn a lot. Chamika Karunaratne came in for Dasun Shanaka who has been having a torrid time with the bat and ball in recent times. 

India made four changes to their team as rested Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Rishabh Pant, and Arshdeep Singh. This meant that Sanju Samson was given another go in the team and will be keeping wickets on Tuesday. 

Four changes for Team India in the final game 

The men in blue under Suryakumar Yadav made four changes for the final game of the series at Pallekele. The toss was delayed by over 40 minutes due to rain once the toss happened Sri Lanka decided to bowl first. 

India brought in Shubman Gill who had missed the last game due to a stiff neck and he will open the batting. Washington Sundar and Khaleel Ahmed came in for Axar Patel and Arshdeep Singh. Shivam Dube made his way into the team in place of Hardik Pandya and will be the leading all-rounder for India. 

Suryakumar Yadav said at the toss “Would've liked to chase as well with the weather around. Becomes difficult for the bowling team to control the ball later. We have 4 guys resting - Hardik, Axar, Rishabh and Arshdeep. We spoke about the brand of cricket we want to play and it's about topping it up every game and being the best version of ourselves”

“We are going to bowl first. Looks like a dry pitch. There was a batting collapse, when the ball gets older it's a bit harder to bat. We have planned a little bit differently. One change, Wickramasinghe comes in for Shanaka” said Charith Asalanka the Sri Lanka skipper said.
