Brampton Wolves star Rohit Paudel took the Global T20 Canadian league by storm. The Nepal skipper took an amazing catch that reminded the fans of the catch taken by Suryakumar Yadav to dismiss David Miller in the T20 World Cup final.

Junaid Siddiqui bowled a low full toss outside the off stump and Akhil Kumar gave it a mighty whack. The ball was going over the boundary and it seemed it was destined to go for six runs.

That’s when Rohit Paudel made good ground and held on to the catch. Sensing he was going over the ropes the Nepal star pushed the ball back into play and came inside the ground to complete the catch. The presence of mind shown by Rohit Paudel not only fetched his side a wicket but will surely go down as one of the catches of the tournament.

Toronto Nationals cruise to easy win

Brampton Wolves skipper David Warner won the toss and chose to bat first. The former Australian star was out for four in the second ball of the game to fellow Aussie pacer Jason Behrendorff.

Aaron Johnson was out for a duck without facing a ball thanks to Rohit Paudel and Unmukt Chand’s brilliant fielding. Jason Behrendorff and Romario Shepherd made it 14/4 as they dismissed Kobe Herft and George Munsey.

Beau Webster was the best batter for Brampton with 25 runs with Nick Hobson being the 2nd best scorer with 21 runs. Junaid Siddique was the best bowler for Toronto with 3/23 from his 3.1 overs.

Chasing 111 to win, Beau Webster dismissed Toronto skipper Colin Munro for 11. Unmukt Chand and Rassie Van Der Dussen then put together a stand of 79 for the 2nd wicket in 58 balls to bring their team closer to a win.

Jack Jarvis ended the stand when he dismissed the South African batter for 25 off 23 balls with a four and one six. Unmukt Chand was not out on 53 runs from 40 balls with 8 fours and a six as the Toronto side won the game by 8 wickets with 40 balls left to play.
