Virat Kohli's flop show in red-ball cricket continues as he returned back to the pavilion after scoring just six runs in the ongoing Ranji Trophy game. Kohli scored a beautiful straight drive for a boundary before getting out off Himanshu Sangwan in the third ball of the 28th over. However, the next ball was a nightmare for the 36-year-old batter as the ball angled in, dismantling the off stump.ย
After getting hit for a boundary, Sangwan didn't lose his calm and dismissed one of the best batters in the history of the game. Kohli was dismissed for six runs off 15 balls, hitting a single boundary. The criticism regarding the senior batters will increase now as Rohit Sharma and Kohli both seem out of form, and the Champions Trophy is approaching faster than ever.ย
