After a steady start, Punjab Kings are struggling against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the 37th match of the ongoing IPL 2025. They have lost 6 wickets at the score of 115 runs in 14.3 overs. Shashank Singh and Marco Jansen are there in the middle with the individual scores of 16 and 0 runs, respectively.
Meanwhile, what attracted the eyeballs of the fans in the first innings was the hilarious reaction of former RCB skipper and batting stalwart Virat Kohli after executing an amazing run-out dismissal of PBKS’ Nehal Wadhera.
The moment came on the last ball of the ninth over when Wadhera ran for two on his call, but it ended up in an unexpected mix-up. Virat Kohli came towards the stumps at the non-striker’s end from the covers and passed the ball to wicketkeeper Jitesh Sharma, and he made no mistake in taking off the bails to dismiss Wadhera.
The video of Virat Kohli’s amazing reaction while celebrating Nehal Wadhera’s run-out dismissal also went viral on social media as soon as it was shared by a user on X (formerly Twitter).
