In the ongoing 1st Test match between India and Bangladesh, Virat Kohli was wrongly given out on a delivery where there was a clear inside edge on the inner side of the bat. On-field umpires declared the batter LBW while there was a clear edge on the bat. Surprisingly, Kohli didn't take the DRS, which seemed quite off. After a solid start, Kohli threw his wicket, which was quite disappointing as he could go for the DRS.
Even though Kohli did discuss with Shubman Gill, who was at the non-striker end, he still walked away after the dismissal. This gave rise to controversy, with some viewers believing the ball touched the bat while the other half believed the bat touched the ground. Either way, there's no point in discussion since Kohli himself left the situation without even reviewing it.

At stumps, India scored 81 runs at the loss of three wickets. Gill and Rishabh Pant were again handling the damage done by the top order. Rohit Sharma looks out of form as the player scored 6 and 5 runs in both innings, respectively. Jaiswal, too, scored just 10 runs, and Kohli went out on 17 runs.
I got out today but it's part and parcel of the game: Ravindra Jadeja
India's one of the best all-rounders, Ravindra Jadeja scored 86 runs in the first innings and got out before scoring his century. Since he has played for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for a really long time now, the Chepauk Stadium has become very special for him. Scoring a century could have been very special for him, but he acknowledged that these things happen and that they are not under anyone's control. Moreover, he also talked about the opportunity he has to take his 300th wicket on this ground.
"I got out today but it's part and parcel of the game. Now we have to put up a good score on the board in the second innings. I am very happy with my bowling, the way I went through today. It's a good opportunity to take the 300th wicket on this ground," said Ravindra Jadeja after the match.
