India and England's players have arrived in Chennai for the second T20I game which will be played on January 25. The home team has taken the lead in the series by defeating the visitors by seven wickets in the first game. The series has just started, but the excitement and thrill are intact. As the players arrived in Chennai, India's star batter Tilak Varma was interviewed, and he looked pretty elated about the place and the environment. He went on to say that he remembers two things in Chennai: one is MS Dhoni, and the other one is Rajinikanth.

There are two players in the team who are based in Chennai: Washington Sundar and Varun Chakaravarthy. Making special requests to them, Tilak said, "Varun, subah subah gharpe ek crispy dosa chahiye breakfast k liye and shaam ko Washi k ghar mein dinner chahiye. (Varun I need one crispy dosa early in the morning for breakfast and in the evening, need dinner at Washi's place)."

Chennai is not an ideal condition for the English players, considering the high temperature and humidity, but they will try their best to win the game and tie the series. Since the MA Chidambaram Stadium pitches are more suitable for the spinners, and they kind of struggled in the first game, Suryakumar Yadav and Co. will surely take advantage of it.

Will Mohammed Shami play in the second T20I game?

As India are ready to take on the English players in the second T20I game, the most important question that remains is whether Mohammed Shami will play in the game or not. He wasn't available in the first game, and since India won the game, there are fewer chances of making any changes in the team.

Although there are five games in the series, and Shami might get a chance in the upcoming games, the reason behind excluding him isn't mentioned anywhere. The captain or the coach hasn't spoken about it yet, which is concerning. The fans will have to wait a little more to see the star pacer back in action, donning the blue jersey.
