Tilak Varma meets actor Vijay Devarakonda mid-flight; picture goes viral

Tilak Varma, India's all-rounder, met the South Indian superstar Vijay Devarakonda mid-flight and shared the photo on social media. Varma, who is a part of the Indian team for the upcoming England series, was quite happy to meet the Telugu Super Star while travelling. His heartwarming Instagram post read, "Surprised to bump into you on the flight; great meeting you, Anna Vijay Deverakonda; see you soon." 

Tilak was wearing a dark quilted jacket with a white t-shirt inside, while Deverakonda was donning a beanie and a dark-brown shirt. They both were smiling with their teeth out and looked extremely happy. The selfie went viral on social media as the fans loved their sudden meet-up. 

Tilak Varma will be playing for India in the upcoming 5-match T20I series against England. In the previous South Africa series, the player was brilliant with his approach and won the Player of the Series award. He has been an asset for the Indian team, and if Suryakumar Yadav manages to utilise him in the upcoming series, India will be able to retain the series. The England series will start on January 22. 

Rohit Sharma joins Mumbai's squad ahead of Ranji Trophy phase 2

In the upcoming season of the Ranji Trophy 2024-25, Rohit Sharma is set to join the Mumbai team, who will play their first match against Jammu and Kashmir on January 23. The struggle to get his form back is real and was quite evident in the previous series against New Zealand and Australia.

Hence, the Indian captain is making a conscious effort to practice hard and get his old form back before the Champions Trophy 2025. He's under scrutiny for a low performance in the previous series, and the board urged him to get back to the roots and give domestic tournaments a try.
