After a video of him mocking the Royal Challengers Bengaluru went viral on Friday, January 24, spinner Kuldeep Yadav of the Delhi Capitals and India urged the supporters to "chill". Currently, taking a break before the Champions Trophy, Kuldeep participated in a recent YouTube live broadcast. During the podcast, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) fan engaged in a humorous debate with Kuldeep Yadav attempting to mock the Indian bowler.

Recently, Kuldeep Yadav, a passionate FC Barcelona supporter, discussed his passion for the game on the Talk Football HD podcast. When the RCB supporter tried to make fun of him during the live stream, Kuldeep surprised him with a harsh response. "Tumhe goalkeeper ki nahi, trophy ki jarurat hai mere bhai. Goalkeeper kya karoge?" (You don't need a goalkeeper. You need a trophy. What will you do with a goalkeeper) said Kuldeep. As many people made fun of RCB and franchise fans taunted the spinner, Kuldeep's answer went viral on social media.

After claiming that the RCB will undoubtedly win the IPL title, Kuldeep has now attempted to negotiate peace with the supporters. "I'm not a goalkeeper," the spinner joked as he concluded his tweet.Β Β "Chill yar rcb fans...Trophy apki hai. Par me goalkeeper ni hu (Chill RCB fans. The trophy will be yours. But I'm not a goalkeeper.)," said Kuldeep on X.

Kuldeep Yadav named in India's squad for Champions TrophyΒ 

During the IPL 2025 mega auction, Delhi Capitals retained Kuldeep Yadav. In 10 games against RCB, he picked 7 wickets. Delhi Capitals are yet to win the Indian Premier League (IPL) trophy. As the season will start soon, Delhi Capitals will aim to win the trophy with their new set of players. Injury kept Kuldeep Yadav out of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy but he will be back in Indian team for ICC Champions Trophy and England series.

Kuldeep Yadav was named in the ODI squad for England alongside the Champions Trophy. India will travel to UAE for ICC Champions Trophy which will start from 19 Feb onwards. Due to the hybrid model, India will play all its games in the UAE. ICC Champions Trophy will take place between eight teams and the teams are divided into two groups. India’s group consists of Pakistan, New Zealand and Bangladesh.Β
